ABOUT
Welcome to I fichi bianchi, a gluten-free Bed & Breakfast. It is located in a lovingly refurbished old Liberty style villa, using traditional local materials (pietra Leccese and cementine) and retaining the original vaulted ceilings, all nestled in this warm and tranquil part of Salento, the "heel" of Italy.
Here you can relax and enjoy a tasty vegetarian breakfast with fresh local produce, such as the eponymous sweet white figs ("i fichi bianchi"), white mulberries and many other delicious fruits of this fertile region. On request we can also offer you vegan or savoury options.
Breakfast can be enjoyed at your chosen time under the pergola, before heading out to explore this beautiful and peaceful corner of the world.
OUR ROOMS and PRICES
We have two rooms:
The green room, facing the big fig tree
The white room with a little pergola.
Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and heating.
Price per room per night:
Off -peak (All year except August): 65Euros
Peak (August) : 80Euros

We will offer you fresh fruit from local gardens, home made cakes and jam.

Garden
Our large garden has a variety of fruit trees: figs , lemon , peach and there is a hammock between walnut trees to relax on.
Outdoor shower
There is a bamboo outdoor shower to refresh in the garden when you return from the beach
Jacuzzi
Relax in the jacuzzi in the garden among banana and papiro plants at the sunset
Bicycles

Two bicycles are available for free to explore the surrounding olive groves and beyond. If you come by car fenced parking is available on site

Salento is full of historical towns with beautiful baroque buildings and impressing settings: Lecce, Galatina, Otranto , Gallipoli, Acaya.....
Meditation
We run free meditation sessions. You are very welcome to join, even if it is the first time .
Local tours

You can explore the local vineyards and test the best wines from Salento or visit ceramic producers in Cutrofiano (“the town of terracotte”)

You can enjoy and keep fit by playing table tennis in the garden.
